About BrewingScience
Aims and Scope
BrewingScience is an open access journal targeted at scientists and technicians from the brewing and malting industry and suppliers with an interest in background scientific knowledge. The purpose of this scientific journal is the transfer of knowledge from universities, colleges and other areas of research to the industry, to control institutes, and to official channels such as supervisory departments.
BrewingScience publishes bimonthly original scientific papers that describe the most significant research in all areas of brewing science and beverage science, e.g. raw materials, brewing technology, microbiology, yeast technology, filtration, beer analytics, process engineering, quality control and taste stability. Brewing scientists and technical executives in the brewing industry use the BrewingScience to get informed on the latest research results.
Peer Review Process
All articles published in BrewingScience have undergone a rigorous, single-blind peer review process based on an initial screening by the editor and an anonymous review by at least two (up to four) independent and anonymous reviewers. The aim of the peer review process is to maintain the originality and quality of the research work and to filter out inferior or plagiarised articles.
