Joint Meeting ASBC and CIBD
The American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC) and the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD) announced their joint meeting from 17–19 August 2026 in Seattle, Washington, USA. The theme of the meeting is “Global Brewing and Distilling Innovation: Shaping the Future Together.”
Both ASBC and CIBD will offer sessions to increase attendee technical acumen and skills in brewing, fermentation, and distilling.

EBC Congress 2026
The 40th edition of the EBC Congress will take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands on 6-9 September 2026.
A dedicated website (https://ebc2026rotterdam.eu) has been launched as the central information portal. It features details for potential sponsors and exhibitors. From March 2026, registration and hotel booking options will also become available via the site. Visitors are encouraged to sign up for the newsletter to stay informed. The call for Abstracts is open from Tuesday, 4 November 2025 until Wednesday, 4 February 2026.
BSFocus on Beer
The event dedicated to the art and science of brewing and beer flavour development and organized by the British Society of Flavourists (BSF), takes place at the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan in Freising, Germany, from 16–18 September. Building on the success of previous BSF symposia on coffee, chocolate and whisky, this event aims to bring together leading experts and passionate professionals from the flavour industry, brewing science and beverage production.
